Torterra-the Continent Pokemon
Small Pokemon occasionally gather on it unmoving back to begin building their nest. Groups of this Pokemon migrating in search of water have been mistaken for moving forests.
To start my Pokemon coverage, I'm going with the grass starter Torterra.
Move pools
Leech seed-Impish nature
Earthquake
Wood Hammer
Leech Seed
Stealth Rock/Protect
This moveset is mostly defensive. Leech Seed will give Torterra extra health while taking it from its opponent. Stealth Rock is good for supporting teammates but Protect is good for scouting moves. Earthquake and Wood Hammer deliver decent damage to the opposing Pokemon as well.
Sword Dance-Adamant nature
Sword Dance
Wood Hammer
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Despite being a more defensive Pokemon, Sword Dance can wreak havoc. Earthquake and Stone Edge have excellent type coverage, and Wood Hammer is another reliable STAB (same type attack boost) move.
Curse-Adamant nature-Leftovers
Curse
Wood Hammer
Earthquake
Stone Edge
This one is similar to the Sword Dance set but helps it take more hits. If your worried about going last, Torterra rarely goes first anyway. This set works well in a Trick Room team.
Choice Band-Adamant nature-choice band
Earthquake
Wood Hammer
Stone Edge
Crunch/Superpower
With his great type coverage it's hard to switch without receiving a decent amount of damage. Superpower is good for Skarmory and Bronzong but crunch is better against Celebi and Exeggutor.
Rock Polish-Adamant nature-leftovers
Rock Polish
Earthquake
Wood Hammer
Stone Edge
Rock Polish lets you out speed and destroy most threats you will encounter.
Substitute Leech Seed-Impish nature-Leftovers
Leech Seed
Substitute
Earthquake
Wood Hammer/Stone Edge/Toxic
"SubSeed" has got to be one of the most annoying things around. While getting HP from Leech Seed and Leftovers the 1/4 Hp cut from Substitute isn't much of a problem. Substitute also protects you from status problems. And if Leech Seed isn't enough, Toxic steals more of your HP. Stone Edge gives you better type coverage then Wood Hammer, but the latter is more powerful and gets STAB.
